Opening today in the 10th state to welcome Freddy's, the all-new Las Vegas restaurant hopes to please tourists and locals alike.

"Excited doesn't really capture the mood around here," says franchise operator David Moore. "We are thrilled to open in Las Vegas and look forward to serving Freddy's famous cooked-to-order steakburgers, piping hot shoe-string fries, and creamy custard treats to the families of the area, as well as the travelers here for a short stay.

Located at 9809 S. Eastern on a pad site in the Silverado Ranch Plaza, the latest Freddy's is a free-standing facility with indoor and patio seating, as well as drive-thru service. The neighborhood offers strong family demographics, easy access to state and interstate highway, and a good mix of schools and local shopping districts.

An additional eight sites are planned for the Las Vegas area in the coming years.

Freddy's opening in Las Vegas brings the nationwide count to 60, including three stores opening this week.

"We are very grateful for this level of growth and for the guests who have such a strong affinity for our food," says Freddy's COO Scott Redler. "Nothing makes me more proud than walking into one of our locations and seeing families and friends enjoying their steakburgers and Chicago Dogs together or rehashing their day over a turtle sundae. We are honored to be a place that means enough to our guests to be included in their family time and life's celebrations."

A friends and family event was hosted by General Manager Curtis Beat on Thursday following three days of in-store training. The corporate training team will be on hand for the first week of operation to ensure Freddy's high standards for cleanliness and hospitality.
