Freshii announced that a former Hollywood producer and his wife will bring the franchise to Nashville.

Daniel McCarthy and wife Olivia Sarratt McCarthy moved from Los Angeles to Nashville last year in search of a better quality of life for their family. After a decade in the film industry, they were also looking for a new venture.

“A friend knew I was looking to start a business and turned me on to Freshii. When I went to Chicago to see Freshii for myself, all the stores were completely packed, my lunch was quick and delicious, and I knew right away Freshii will do particularly well in Nashville,” Dan McCarthy says.

“Nashville really is the best of town and country,” he says. “With a population of over a million, the culture is based on family values, and the message of health, sustainability, and locally supplied produce will be extremely well received and supported. I found a concept with really great-tasting, quick-service, healthy, and organic food. As a father interested in a healthy lifestyle for my family, Freshii is a no brainer and I can’t wait to open.”

“Nashville is a much more sophisticated town than many think and we’ve already been inundated with all the ‘It’s about time’ comments,” Olivia Sarratt McCarthy says. “This concept is long overdue everywhere and we’re very happy to be the first to bring it to the South.”
