Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill opened its fourth Maryland location in Annapolis on Wednesday, February 26. The new restaurant is the fourth company-owned restaurant to open in Maryland and the 28th location nationwide.

On grand opening day, Garbanzo is holding hourly in-store prize drawings for items such as an Apple iPod nano, Wii Mini, Apple TV, Kindle Fire HD, Amazon gift cards, and Garbanzo gift cards. Guests can register at the restaurant on opening day for a chance to win.

The new location is also hosting a fundraiser dinner Tuesday, February 25, at 5:30—7:30 p.m. on behalf of Anne Arundel County Court Appointed Special Advocates Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate for and support abused and neglected children in the court system. The public is invited to attend for a $5 suggested donation.

“We are very excited to open our fourth Maryland location and bring the fresh, healthy, and authentic Mediterranean flavors to Annapolis,” says Alon Mor, Garbanzo founder, president, and CEO. “Our Annapolis fans have been asking for a Garbanzo in their area for months, and we are happy to deliver on our promise to them.”

The Mediterranean fast-casual concept currently has 19 company-owned units: 15 in Colorado and four in Maryland. The additional nine restaurants are franchisee-owned and located in seven different states throughout the country.
