The Barberitos in Winder, Georgia, is hosting a percentage day on Thursday, November 29, to benefit Tripp Halstead. The local toddler has been recovering from a head injury since Hurricane Sandy sent a large tree limb tumbling down on the 2-year-old in early November.
The tragic story has touched many local residents, who have been more than willing to reach out and help in any way possible. Barberitos will be donating 10 percent of the entire day’s sales to the Halstead family.
“I’m looking forward to hosting this charitable event and collecting money to help out the Halstead family,” says owner Susan Mattox. “I hope the percentage day will have a good turnout in support of this great, local cause. We’re cheering for him.”
Barberitos is a quick-service restaurant offering fresh, Tex-Mex cuisine, including a variety of burritos, tacos, salads, quesadillas, and nachos made to order.
