Albuquerque, New Mexico, will become home to the newest Godfather’s Pizza location when the company opens its new restaurant on July 15. The new Godfather’s Pizza is located at 311 98th Street NW, near Northwest 98th and I-40. This location will feature a more “lounge style” setting and include chili-based menu offerings exclusive to the area, such as the Chicken Green Chili Classic Pizza and Jalapeño Breadsticks with Cheese.
This will be the first of many locations franchise owner Laura Olguin expects to open in the greater Albuquerque area.
“I am so excited to help bring Godfather’s Pizza back to Albuquerque,” Olguin says. “It is a great location and there’s potential for me to open even more restaurants than initially planned if all goes well. The buzz around town is amazing.”
In anticipation for the store’s official grand opening event August 1, the new Godfather’s Pizza location will open its doors to the public July 15. Included in the opening day activities will be a drawing for the first 50 customers to win one of 50 gift cards or free pizza for a year. All attendees will also get to spin a prize wheel for a chance to win water bottles, koozies, key chains, glow sticks, and air fresheners.
The new location is expected to bring more than 40 full- and part-time jobs to the local economy.
“It thrills us to not only provide jobs for the residents of Albuquerque, but to give something back to the community,” Olguin says.
The new location will serve its entire menu seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.
