Great American Cookies has launched the company-wide rollout of “George A. Cookies” and “Cookie Man” as their official public mascots. The company has also created a page at www.greatamericancookies.com where fans can read background information on the mascots, download coloring pages, and more.

In support of the rollout, the company has developed a wide variety of new and limited edition products and packaging, including new thematic Cookie Cake designs, collectible cups and buckets (filled with the company’s signature Big Bites), and plush dolls of Cookie Man and his alter ego George A. Cookies. The rollout is supported by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.

“As we move forward as a company, the George A. Cookies/Cookie Man character will become our official brand ambassador, sharing the joy of Great American Cookies with everyone he meets,” said Jenn Johnston, senior vice president of brand marketing for NexCen Franchise Management Inc. “During the rollout, each of our locations will begin to introduce their guests to Cookie Man with exciting new products and packaging designed to tell the heroic story of the character.”

Great American Cookies is also offering a special combo promotion to celebrate the rollout. Customers who order three Kid’s Combos (small fountain drink and regular cookie) during the month of July are eligible to receive a free George A. Cookies collectible plush, and guests who order three Kid’s Combos during the month of August are eligible to receive a free Cookie Man collectible plush.
