Great American Cookies Salutes Veterans with Cookies

Great American Cookies is honoring the brave men and women serving our country this year with a free cookie giveaway.

On Sunday, November 11, patrons—either in uniform or carrying their military ID or proof of service—who stop by a Great American Cookies location will receive a free regular cookie of their choice.

Great American Cookies is managed by GFG Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Global Franchise Group.

In addition, Great American Cookies continues to show its appreciation for veterans with the Great American Patriot Program, designed to help members of the armed forces own their own franchise business.  

In its second year, the incentive program is available to qualifying veterans from all branches of the U.S. military, and includes a 40 percent discount on Great American Cookies franchise fees.

"We're proud to continuously support our brave service members through multiple programs," says David Kaiser, brand director, Great American Cookies. "On this day, Great American Cookies continues the tradition by honoring their service with free cookies."

Great American Cookies has made generous contributions in support of our nation's service members. One such effort includes a recent donation of more than $20,000 to the USO, the nonprofit, private organization responsible for lifting the spirit of our armed forces and their families.

Great American Cookies has also supported programs including the Yellow Ribbon Fund, which provides assistance to recovering injured service members.
