Dedicated to keeping smiles on the faces of children and families across the country, Häagen-Dazs Shops is continuing their partnership with Bert’s Big Adventure, a local Atlanta non-profit organization which provides children with chronic and terminal illnesses the opportunity to experience a magical Walt Disney World vacation.

Since 2011, Häagen-Dazs Shops have been hosting annual events to help raise funds for children and families to experience the five-day Disney adventure. This year, nine participating shops will be donating 50 percent of total store sales to support Bert’s Big Adventure.

Having hosted 122 all-inclusive vacations to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Bert’s Big Adventure provides an experience that many of these children and families would not be able to experience without the help of the foundation.

It’s an incredible feeling to be able to have an impact on such a significant moment in a child’s life,” says Tim West, franchise business manager for Häagen-Dazs. “These kids and families are battling every single day. To help support the opportunity for them to escape for just one weekend and experience the magic of a Disney adventure is something that resonates in the hearts of our shop owners as well as our customers.”

Participating Häagen-Dazs shops throughout Atlanta include: Lenox Mall, Perimeter Mall, Towncenter Mall, Collection at Forsyth, Northpoint Mall, Cumberland Mall, and Cumberland Festival Shopping Center, as well as Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama, and Circle Centre Mall in Indianapolis, Indiana.
