Hale & Hearty Soups, the New York–based restaurant chain serving homemade soups, sandwiches, and salads, signed a lease for its latest location at 177 Madison Avenue, between East 33rdand East 34thStreets.

Winick Realty Group LLC senior managing director Joseph Isa and associate director Brian Tregerman represented landlord First 177 Madison LLC in the long-term lease transaction. Kimberly McCullough of KEM Company represented the tenant, who will occupy 2,500 square feet on the ground floor and 2,500 square feet in the basement.

“Hale & Hearty Soups will bring a great food option to the table on what is currently an underserved block,” Tregerman says. “There is a lot of development going on across the street and a growing office population in the area, so Hale & Hearty Soups is definitely ahead of the curve in leasing this retail site.”

Hale & Hearty Soups has 28 locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island, New York.
