Haliburton International Foods Inc., a leading manufacturer of food products, announced the hiring of Daniel Flannery as plant engineer. Daniel brings three decades of manufacturing experience, which includes team building to audit compliance for companies such as AIB, Silliker, Costco, Safeway, LP 9000, Walmart, and Tesco to name a few. In addition, Daniel has experience with design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new product equipment and processes. His knowledge has allowed manufacturing teams such as IMF/Windsor, Nature’s Way/Wild Rocket, Fresh and Easy/Tesco, Del Taco, FMC, and others the ability to increase production through-put while enhancing product safety and employee safety; often through the addition of ergonomically driven designs.

 

Haliburton also announces the hiring of Rusbelina Silva as director of quality. Rusbelina holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering—Food Science and Technology degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico. Rusbelina previously worked at Mission Foods for over 23 years, holding several positions including total quality manager, total quality director, and most recently vice president of total quality. Rusbelina will be responsible for leading Haliburton's quality efforts. She will be managing the quality control, regulatory compliance, laboratory services, and quality assurance departments and will be Haliburton's primary customer liaison in all quality issues.
