Debbie Lewis, of Iowa City, is the national grand prize winner in Hardee’s “Fantasy of a Lifetime Instant Win Game.” This past summer, Hardee’s, proud sponsor of the Roush Racing NASCAR Team, offered guests at participating restaurants systemwide the opportunity to win a day in the life of one of the team’s drivers, along with other exciting racing prizes.

Lewis, a regular Hardee’s guest and a longtime car enthusiast, purchased the grand prize-winning game piece at the Hardee’s restaurant located on Highway 6 West in Coralville, Iowa. Her grand prize is a 2000 Roush Ford Mustang Convertible with a Roush Performance Stage 2 package. In addition, she won a Fantasy Race Trip for two, which includes airfare to next year’s Daytona 500, hotel, rental car, spending cash, pit and garage passes and crew apparel.

“My husband and I are so excited,” said Lewis. “This is a dream come true. Who would have ever thought that a super-sized drink could bring such happiness? It’s great that it happened at the Hardee’s in Coralville, where we can share the excitement with all of our family, friends and community,” she said.

According to Lee Staak, local owner of the Hardee’s restaurant with the grand prize-winning game piece, this contest and its winner were a perfect fit. “Debbie is a loyal Hardee’s guest and event coordinator for the local car club,” said Staak. “This Fantasy promotion was a great way to create excitement for all of our guests, to share their interest in NASCAR racing and to bring the race experience home to our restaurants with some super prizes. I’m really excited that the new Mustang will be cruising around the streets of Iowa City and Coralville,” he said.
