Multiunit IHOP owner, KJM IHOP, has selected DTT as its exclusive video surveillance and loss prevention vendor.

DTT began rolling out systems into all 10 stores in September 2012. The group has plans for store expansion across Southern California, and all future locations will also be equipped with DTT loss prevention managed services.

Karen Miles, franchise owner for the KJM group, says, “I knew about DTT because of their four-year partnership with multistore franchisee, Scott Womack. After seeing the success that the Womack Group experienced with DTT, it was an easy decision for us.

“I am certain that DTT’s technology and customer support will have a positive impact on our IHOP locations,” she adds. “We have had concerns about cash loss at our POS systems. With DTT’s POS integration and SmartAudit reports, I know that we’ll be able to correct the issues soon. I also look forward to using the MyDTT portal to help manage all of my locations remotely.”

Tom Moran, executive vice president of sales and marketing for DTT, says, “We are extremely proud to service IHOP locations across the nation. The confidence that current customers have in our product is a great indicator to other owners that DTT’s managed service solution truly helps restaurateurs ensure the right things are happening in their locations.

“As our valued partnership with the IHOP community continues to grow, we are certain that DTT’s restaurant-specific loss prevention tools and services will positively impact restaurant operations across their entire enterprise,” he continues.
