McDonald’s is announcing the latest addition to the company’s premium salad line—the new Fruit & Walnut Salad is part of McDonald’s on-going commitment to encourage food-energy balance. Balanced, active lifestyles ambassador, Venus Williams and McDonald’s global spokespeople, Destiny’s Child will be on hand to help McDonald’s executives walk the green carpet as they unveil the wholesome Fruit & Walnut Premium Salad at the McDonald’s restaurant on 42nd and Broadway in New York City
The new, crisp fruit salad embodies McDonald’s balanced, active lifestyles platform as a wholesome choice for customers. The Fruit & Walnut Salad meets the nutrition criteria for healthy foods of Produce for Better Health Foundation’s (PBH) 5 A Day The Color Way program encouraging Americans to eat a colorful variety of fruits and vegetables daily.
