Jake’s Wayback Burgers, with more than 80 locations, announced the start of its Wayback Burger Bowl “Griddle Iron” Competition, which spotlights Wayback food products and gives consumers a chance to vote for their favorites while discovering ones they may not know about. The game itself features four bowls: The Battle of the Burgers (January 20–22),Scramble of the Sides (January 23–25), The Wayback Shakedown (January 26–28), and the Wayback Burger Bowl Championship (January 30–31).

After every participant votes, an interactive “football-like” video is played, which showcases the participants game outcome.

“We are thrilled to have launched a particularly engaging campaign for our guests to play,” says Gillian Maffeo, director of marketing for Jake’s Franchising LLC. “The premise behind launching the Wayback Burger Bowl ‘Griddle Iron’Competition is to educate our guests on the cooking process at Wayback Burgers and our product variety. Additionally, our guests look forward to participating in our campaigns and we enjoy rewarding them, as it is just one small way to thank them for their ongoing support and loyalty.”

Jake’s Wayback Burgers is about serving hand-made burgers and hand-dipped milkshakes amidst an atmosphere that hearkens back to a simpler place and time. The restaurant offers thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream. Jake’s Wayback Burgers also offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, and house-made chips, as well as the Burger and Shake of the Month.
