Barberitos in Johnson City is giving everything away for free for a great cause on May 19. Barberitos is partnering with Rise Up, a local non-profit that works with under-resourced kids in the Johnson City area.

The May 19 event stemmed from Rise Up needing a new bus to transport kids from their school to Rise Up’s facility in east Johnson City.

Customers on May 19 will get a free meal and the opportunity to donate toward Buying the Bus. All of the proceeds from the day will go directly to Rise Up’s bus fund. In addition to the free food, there will be an inflatable bounce house, live music, and free frozen yogurt from Menchies for all of the donors.

“It is extremely important to myself, my family, and the employees of Barberitos that we give back to the community and help those in need,” says Andy Osbolt, the owner of the Johnson City Barberitos. “I’m thankful that I have the opportunity to raise money for such a wonderful organization. ”
