The Wendy’s Company announced the grand opening of its newest Wendy’s restaurant in North Oak Village Shopping Center, which is located at North Oak and Vivion Roads in Kansas City, North. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant opened to the public on October 15.

“We’re excited to open our first Kansas City company restaurant in 10 years and even more excited to bring this state-of-the-art Wendy’s to one of the fastest growing areas in the Northland,” says Mike Hotchkiss, director of area operations for Wendy’s. “The new location will not only offer a quality dine-out/drive-thru option close to surrounding retail, but it will also provide about 45 jobs to the neighborhood.”

Hotchkiss is responsible for the operations of 31 company-owned Wendy’s restaurants. Plans call for additional locations in the greater Kansas City area in 2012.

The North Oak Village location will feature the complete Wendy’s menu that has made the chain a favorite of consumers worldwide. Headlining the menu is the brand new “Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy” Hamburger line and fresh-made breakfast entrées. Other menu items include fresh salads, made-to-order chicken sandwiches, Chili, Wendy’s Kids’ Meals, the Frosty Dairy Dessert, and the Value Menu.

“Our goal is to provide each customer with the Wendy’s experience of service, customer care, and quality ingredients, like our fresh, never frozen, 100 percent pure beef hamburgers served hot off the grill and our fresh-made breakfast with ingredients like Grade A cracked eggs, natural sausage, and applewood smoked bacon. We truly strive to live up the values established by our founder Dave Thomas,” says Eileen Eilert, field marketing manager.

The management team of the new restaurant includes district manager Sue Miller and general manger Nancy Persell.
