Kerry Introduces U.S. to Irish Frozen Yogurt Base Mixes

To answer the growing trend of self-serve frozen yogurt, Kerry introduced the foodservice industry in the U.S. to Kerrymaid Frozen Yogurt Bases, a brand known for its dairy products in the U.K. and Ireland.

Paying homage to its heritage as an Irish dairy co-op, Kerrymaid Frozen Yogurt bases are made from natural ingredients, with yogurt and without preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Available in three varieties—Tart Non Fat, Non Fat, and No Sugar Added Low Fat—these bases can be customized with any of the more than 170 DaVinci Gourmet syrups and sauces, creating endless flavor possibilities.

“We’re thrilled to bring Kerrymaid to the U.S., supporting our customers who want to take advantage of the growing frozen yogurt trend,” says Tim Shaw, brand manager for Kerry Foodservice Brands. “Paired with DaVinci Gourmet syrups, these quality frozen yogurt bases allow operators to conveniently add hundreds of delicious, signature frozen yogurt flavors to their menu.”

All three bases contain cultures and have been certified to include the Live & Active seal on its packaging. Cultures are naturally occurring bacteria that aid in digestion, regulate bacteria, and help maintain a healthy immune system. Also, Kerrymaid Frozen Yogurt base mixes are kosher certified.

In addition, Kerrymaid bases come in environmentally responsible packaging with a convenient twist off cap and easy-to-pour spout. Mixes are available in 6–61 fluid ounce cartons and keep for 12 months in the freezer.
