KFC and BET Join to Celebrate Family With Annual Sweepstakes

KFC Corporation (KFCC) announced this week the launch of its second annual National Celebration of Family Sweepstakes. In a partnership with Black Entertainment Television, Inc. (BET) network, the national sweepstakes will select weekly winners via the Internet, to receive KFC gift certificates for their family gatherings. Rules and entry information are available at BET.com.

"KFC is about bringing families together and sharing in the joy of having meals together," says Gregg Dedrick, president and chief concept officer, KFC.

The 11-week national sweepstakes will run on BET.com from June through the second week of September. Customers can log onto BET.com to register for their chance to win $500 in KFC gift certificates for catering their family gatherings. Weekly winners will randomly be selected by BET.

"At KFC, we believe it is important to reinvest in the communities where our customers live and work," says Dedrick. "Our partnership with BET allows us to give back to our customers and reflects our commitment to diversity."

Online visitors can also enter KFC's Ultimate Custom Catered Family Reunion Contest by submitting an original essay explaining why their family is deserving of a KFC® Custom Catered Family Reunion and describing how their family gathering is special.
