Krystal To Rollout Milkshakes

Just in time to combat soaring summer temperatures, Krystal is debuting its new line of real ice cream milkshakes, called MilkQuakes, in conjunction with an online campaign designed to help customers across the South beat the heat this summer. Featuring premium ice cream, all-natural flavors, and real milk, the MilkQuakes line will be supported by a specially-designed online campaign, titled “Chill Out,” that offers earth-friendly tips on other ways to stay cool this summer.

Individually made to order, Krystal’s line of MilkQuakes include the Vanilla MilkQuake, made with creamy, real vanilla ice cream; the Strawberry MilkQuake, loaded with real strawberries; and the Chocolate MilkQuake, featuring rich, premium chocolate ice cream. Each MilkQuake is topped with a dollop of whipped cream, which is optional, and served in a 20-ounce cup. MilkQuakes are available at the suggested price of $2.79.

As the MilkQuakes roll out in Krystal restaurants across the South, the company is offering customers tips and earth-friendly advice on additional ways to keep cool with an online “Chill Out” campaign. The campaign will consist of a series of emails that offer advice and suggestions that Krystal Lovers can easily implement at home. A coupon for a free MilkQuake will also be distributed via email and posted on the company’s official MySpace page at www.myspace.com/krystalloverslounge, where Krystal Lovers will be encouraged to share their own earth-friendly, summer survival advice.
