La Madeleine Country French Café announces a new, French-inspired dinner menu unique to the Washington, D.C. area. The country-French café’s dishes are a break from the expected. 

The dinner menu is available in cafés starting at 4 p.m. each day. Selections include chicken dishes, seafood entreés, shrimp and chicken crepes, pastas, artisan salades and soupes. Four dishes making their debut on the menu include:
 
– Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin – Roasted pork tenderloin is brushed with a balsamic glaze and served with maple-glazed root vegetables and quinoa pilaf with mushrooms and cranberries. $10.49
 
– Chicken Mushroom Puff Pastry – La Madeleine’s signature rosemary roasted chicken in a creamy sauce with tender vegetables and roasted mushrooms, all layered in a puff pastry. $10.49
 
– Shrimp & Scallops Gratin – Fresh shrimp and scallops baked in a creamy lobster sauce topped with seasoned bread crumbs and served with asparagus and a sun-dried tomato breadstick. $12.49
 
– Roasted Salmon & Dill Sauce – Cooked salmon fillet served with asparagus over a bed of rice provençal, topped with a creamy garlic dill sauce and garnished with sliced lemons. $12.49
 
“We are excited to offer D.C. guests new dinner selections that embrace la Madeleine’s French heritage,” says John Cahill, chief operating officer at la Madeleine. “As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we are focused more than ever on remaining true to la Madeleine’s signature flavors and dishes, while also introducing guests to new, French-inspired menu selections.
 
The new dinner menu is available at all eight D.C. locations starting March 27, including Alexandria, Annapolis Westfield Mall, Baileys Crossroads, Bethesda, Columbia, Reston, Rockville, and Tysons Corner Center. The Rockville and Tysons locations are also introducing an expanded wine menu and Cruvinet wine system, offering guests wine by the glass or bottle.
