As the temperature rises, la Madeleine Bakery, Café & Bistro offers guests la crème de la crème with refreshing new Crème Glacé beverages, available beginning June 6 in five delicious flavors–Chocolate, Orange, Raspberry, Strawberry, and Vanilla.
Crème Glacé drinks blend cream, ice, and naturally flavored syrup, topped with real whipped cream, and are available in two sizes: single (12 ounces) for $2.99 and double (20 ounces) for $3.99.
la Madeleine is also bringing back its Liberty Tart in honor of independence and is marketing the pastry as an ideal dessert for summer parties or Fourth of July and Bastille Day picnics. The tart is a light puff pastry filled with vanilla pastry cream and topped with blueberries, raspberries, and whipped cream to symbolize the colors of the American and French flags. The Liberty Tart is available beginning June 6 for $3.99.
“Crème Glacé is a freshly made, creamy frozen beverage with powerful summer fruit flavors, as well as classic favorites like Chocolate or Vanilla, that really please the palate,” said Susan Dederen, Senior Director of Culinary for la Madeleine. “They’re also the perfect complement to our Liberty Tart, full of fresh summer berries.”
