La Madeleine Country French Café celebrates the arrival of the summer season with bold, new salades that transform refreshing ingredients into satisfying, hot-weather entrees. The new summer menu includes:

Shrimp Salade Dijonnaise ($8.99): Chilled, roasted, shrimp tossed in creamy Dijonnaise, with fresh, flavorful dill, red peppers, mushrooms, and celery on a bed of fresh spinach, dressed with Balsamic vinaigrette and served with a pesto cheese straw.

Citrus Bacon Salade ($7.99): Wild field greens topped with sliced strawberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple, roasted, sliced almonds, Balsamic vinaigrette and served with la Madeleine’s signature, Lemon Madeleine.

“La Madeleine has always offered a variety of popular, delicious, signature salades. These new options combine the season’s freshest ingredients with innovative flavor combinations. Bacon continues to be an exciting culinary trend, and our new Citrus Bacon Salade offers the perfect fusion of that smoky flavor with fresh-cut fruits,” says Susan Dederen, director of culinary operations for la Madeleine. “Shrimp Salade folded into kicky Dijonnaise really compliments the great taste of spinach that’s just right for summertime dining.”

Summer is also the ideal time to enjoy favorites like a glass of la Madeleine’s refreshing, ice-cold, raspberry lemonade, signature Strawberries Romanoff, and classic fruit tarts.

“Whether it’s a pick-up-and-go picnic or lunch away from the office with colleagues, summer means easy living and a time to relax,” says Phil Costner, la Madeleine's COO. “La Madeleine lets you savor the season and beat the heat, deliciously."
