Largest's Famous Dave's Store Opens in NYC

Famous Dave’s of America, Inc. (NASDAQ: DAVE - News) president and CEO Christopher O’Donnell today announced that Famous Dave’s newest award-winning BBQ restaurant opened in Times Square.

The restaurant is located on 47th St. between 6th and 7th Avenues, putting Famous Dave’s hickory smokers and down-home barbecue side-by-side with the bright lights and glitz of Broadway. Famous Dave’s has more than 170 locations in 37 states, with the newest restaurant marking its Manhattan debut.

“Times Square in New York City is one of the most iconic destinations in the world, and Famous Dave’s is wildly honored to be part of the excitement in this capital of entertainment and dining,” says Christopher O’Donnell, President and CEO of Famous Dave’s.

Sammy Benmoha is the owner and operator of the new Famous Dave’s franchise in New York City. Benmoha owns and operates Maxie’s Delicatessen and, in partnership with his father, Jacob, the Roxy Delicatessen.

Both restaurants are located in the heart of Times Square.

The new Famous Dave’s is about 12,000 square feet and can seat up to 280 guests, making it the largest Famous Dave’s BBQ restaurant in the country.
