Lenny's Sub Shop Launches Facebook Video Contest
Lenny's Sub Shop, a 150-unit sub sandwich franchise, launched its first Facebook video contest to honor school teachers nationwide and help celebrate "World Teacher Day" on October 5, 2012.
From September 10–October 10, Lenny's encourages the brand's more than 87,000 Facebook fans to submit a creative video sharing their personal story of one school teacher who positively impacted their life.
Then, on October 11 and 12, Lenny's Facebook fans will vote for their favorite videos, and prizes will be awarded for the grand, second, and third place winners.
The grand prize-winning school teacher and nominating student will both win $1,000.
"Lenny's is giving our fans this creative outlet to honor our nation's school teachers and will illustrate the positive impact school teachers make on their students every day," says George Alvord, chairman and CEO of Lenny's Sub Shops.
"We expect our loyal Facebook fans to showcase their school teachers who were mentors, gave guidance, and encouraged them to realize their potential and follow their dreams," says Brent Alvord, president of Lenny's Sub Shops.
