Nick Vojnovic, president of Little Greek Restaurant, has been named Tampa Bay-area “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the University of South Florida (USF) Association of Entrepreneurs.

It’s an honor to be recognized,” Vojnovic says, who received his MBA in 2012 from USF.

“This program is amazing, and I look forward to seeing future talent emerge from their experience.”

Previous winners are Tampa’s Dave and Susan Ward, Buddy Brew, and Joey Redner, of Cigar City Brewing. The USF Association of Entrepreneurs has been an incubator for fostering and growing entrepreneurial talent.

Tampa-based Little Greek, a fast-casual neighborhood Greek restaurant with an American influence, has 19 locations in Arkansas, Florida, and Texas. By the end of 2015, Little Greek is scheduled to open locations in Clearwater, Orlando, and Spring Hill, Florida, in addition to the Dallas area in Texas and Louisville, Kentucky.
