Local McDonald's Owner/Operators Will Join in National Salute to the U.S. Military
The campaign will pay tribute to the men and women of the U.S. military, local community heroes, and the men and women of McDonald's. The National Salute to the U.S. Military will kick off in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and will feature a special celebration during the McDonald's Air and Sea Show, which is the world's largest two-day spectator event on the waterfront. The celebration will also feature the U.S. Air Force Experience Road Show, an interactive traveling display featuring an actual Air Force fighter jet and F-16 simulator, and a CBS television special, Saturday, May 25, saluting the men and women in the Armed Forces.
As a part of the Salute to the U.S. Military, local McDonald's Owner/Operators Tom Burrell of Elizabeth, Ky., and Art Davenport of Louisville, Ky., will travel to Ft. Lauderdale from May 2 through 5 to represent the State of Kentucky in a variety of McDonald's/U.S. Military activities.
