Long John Silver's Roll Out Fish Tacos

Long John Silver’s will introduce its new Baja Fish Tacos with a promotional giveaway on July 14, when customers will receive a free taco.

“Fish tacos, a long-time favorite recipe in coastal areas, are rapidly becoming a passion for the rest of the country,” says Ben Butler, president of Long John Silver’s. “We’re proud to be the first quick-service restaurant to spread this latest food craze across the nation and meet the needs of contemporary taste buds.”

Long John Silver’s Baja Fish Tacos feature batter-dipped fish layered inside a flour tortilla with lettuce and Baja sauce.

Tortillas and Mexican-inspired flavors ranked high in the recent National Restaurant Association “What’s Hot in 2009” trend survey.

“We’ve seen some of the most skeptical customers turn into fanatics after taking just one bite of our Baja Fish Tacos,” says Butler.
