Manitowoc Foodservice announces the promotion of Kathy Veder to the newly created position of VP Global Accounts, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, and Arby’s. In her new role, Veder will focus on marketing initiatives including strategic direction, product line management, business development, customer service, and delivering on Manitowoc’s promise to its end-user customers.

Veder has more thn 20 years of experience in sales, strategic planning, research and development, engineering, and finance. Previously, Veder served as the vice president of marketing with Frymaster. Before joining Manitowoc, she held a variety of leadership roles as executive vice president and chief marketing officer within the industry.

Garland Canada, the distributor of Manitowoc Foodservice in Canada, announces the appointment of Mary Chiarot as vice president and general manager. In her new role, Chiarot will have overall responsibility for Garland Canada distribution.

Chiarot has many years of experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning. Previously, Chiarot served as the vice president of marketing with the Garland Group. Before joining Manitowoc, she held a variety of leadership roles with Whirlpool Canada and General Electric Canada.
