“Aromatic Spices & Sizzling Stir Fry” are now available at Masala Wok’s second location in the greater Houston area, which opened at 2735 Town Center Boulevard in Sugarland on October 1.

The Sugarland location is owned and operated by Masala Wok Holdings and is the fifth corporate-owned restaurant out of 10 total locations across Texas and Virginia. Masala Wok expects strong consumer interest in the Houston market as it looks to build its brand to fuel further expansion in the area with Masala Wok’s fast-casual Indian and Asian concept.

“Masala Wok has had great initial success in Houston, and it’s time Sugarland residents got a chance to experience the aromatic spices and sizzling stir fry of our restaurant a little closer to home,” says Pramod Prodduturi, Masala Wok’s president. “We are thrilled to begin our expansion in Sugarland and the surrounding communities.”

Masala Wok’s menu features the best of traditional Indian meals and the most flavorful and widely popular Asian dishes. Traditional Indian items include meats and breads cooked in tandoor (clay oven) and curries prepared with fresh Masala (ground spices). Asian dishes are prepared with fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces stir-fried in a wok. Masala Wok’s guests enjoy a wide variety of meats, fish, and vegetarian options, as well as an array of vegan and gluten-free choices.
