Maui Wowi Expands Colorado Operations
Maui Wowi Hawaiian is expanding franchise operations in Colorado by welcoming its newest franchisees, Rob and Stephanie Williams, from Westminster, approximately 20 minutes outside of Denver. The Williams’ have joined the coffee and smoothie franchise company with a vision of building a brand presence throughout the state and beyond.
The couple plans to bring the quality Maui Wowi products to crowds by way of the tiki themed mobile unit called a Ka’anapali cart. This flexible business concept will allow the Williams to serve all-natural fresh fruit smoothies that are gluten-free and fat-free as well as offer customers high quality coffee and espresso beverages from the Hawaiian Islands.
“The Ka’anapali cart is such a great idea,” Rob Williams says. “We believe it allows us the freedom and flexibility to follow events, people, and places and to go to the customers rather than waiting for the action to come to us.”
After tying the knot on the island of Maui, Rob and Stephanie saw it as a sign when they discovered the Maui Wowi franchise opportunities. When they found out that the headquarters are located in their hometown, it made the dream of owning their own business even more of a reality.
“We were instantly intrigued. We were so excited and felt that it was a sign pointing us in the right direction to something amazing,” Rob Williams says.
Stephanie has a background in healthcare administration and Rob has worked in manufacturing for the past 20 years. Together, they both have restaurant and management experience from previous careers that they will combine with their existing skills and put them to use to build a business that will bring them the type of life they have always dreamed of.
“We want to have more money, more freedom, more time to take vacations and the opportunity to build a cabin,” Rob Williams says. “Maui Wowi totally resonated with our lifestyle and the thought of actually enjoying work is no longer a dream but is now a reality.”
Rob and Stephanie plan to take their mobile cart to music festivals, art festivals, and sporting events, to name a few. In addition, they also would like to get involved in fundraising for schools and other special programs, as well as catering for graduation parties and company picnics.
Starting out with one Ka’anapali cart, they hope to grow to three and eventually expand to an empire agreement that would allow them to own up to 10 Maui Wowi units.
