McAlister’s Deli Lends A Hand In Abilene, TX, With New Unit

McAlister’s Deli announced its first location in Abilene, Texas, will open on Monday, September 30, at 3318 South Clack St.

To celebrate the opening and introduce McAlister’s to the local community, the restaurant will partner to raise funds for the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene.

“McAlister's Deli is pleased to become a part of the Abilene community,” says McAlister’s Deli owner Larry Lee. “We look forward to introducing delicious food and McAlister’s genuine hospitality to local residents, while also giving back to the community through our partnership with the West Texas Rehabilitation Center.”

As part of the fundraising partnership, McAlister's in Abilene will kick off its Helping Hands Campaign in November, where guests will receive a $2 McAlister’s gift card to redeem on their next visit for every $2 donation made to the rehab center.

In addition, the restaurant and employees will donate all tips for the first 30 days of operation. The restaurant aims to raise $6,000 for the center.

The restaurant will serve guests daily from Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

McAlister’s has undertaken initiatives to strengthen its brand, including upgrading menu offerings and improving speed of service. Technomic recently recognized the brand as the top chain in the fast-casual industry for food and beverage and as one of consumers’ Top 5 Favorite Chains in the country.
