McAlister’s Deli, a fast-casual chain known for its sandwiches, spuds, and soups, announced the addition of two new seasonal menu items available through December 30. The Turkey Cranberry Griller sandwich is made with Butterball smoked turkey, Gorgonzola, cranberry compote, and sliced Granny Smith apples served on Ciabatta. A Turkey Cranberry Salad with Butterball smoked turkey, dried cranberries, candied pecans, Gorgonzola and sliced Granny Smith apples and grapes served with cranberry-pecan vinaigrette dressing will also be added to the menu.
“We have had great success with seasonal offerings like our Pecanberry Salad, which was very popular this spring and summer,” says Frank Paci, McAlister’s president and CEO. “The new Turkey Cranberry Griller and Salad will delight guests with fresh, fall flavors.”
Technomic recognized the brand as the 2012 top chain in the fast casual industry for food and beverage and as one of consumers’ Top 5 Favorite Chains in the country. Fast Casual also ranked the brand in second place on its Top 100 Movers and Shakers list of 2013, and Paci was named one of the top 20 people in the industry to watch.
