McAlister's Deli announced a same-store sales increase of 4.9 percent during the third quarter of 2013. In addition, year-to-date same-store sales are at 5.4 percent. This marks the 13th straight quarter of positive sales growth. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entrée sales, due to system-wide traffic gains.

“We are pleased to deliver another strong sales performance in the third quarter,” says McAlister’s president and CEO Frank Paci. “Our franchisees continue to provide our guests with great food served with genuine hospitality, creating a loyal customer base and strong brand.”

McAlister’s will open 15 restaurants this year and has signed new development agreements for an additional 45 locations.

Technomic recognized the brand as the 2012 top chain in the fast-casual industry for food and beverage and as one of consumers’ Top 5 Favorite Chains in the country.
