McAlister's Deli Adds Industry Veteran to Executive Team

McAlister's Deli announced it has appointed Peter Wright as vice president of franchise development.  Wright is a 14-year restaurant industry veteran, serving in various development and real estate roles at The Counter, Panera, and Starbucks, among others. 

In his new role, Wright will report to CEO Frank Paci and be responsible for identifying and recruiting new multi-unit franchisees and supporting existing franchisees.  He will focus on franchise growth in undeveloped markets in the states where McAlister's currently operates, as well as spearhead growth in new territories across the country.

"Peter has a wealth of experience in franchise recruitment and development," says Frank Paci, chief executive officer of McAlister's Deli.

"Adding a talent like Peter to our team will help us continue to grow our franchise community and expand into new markets." 

McAlister's Deli owns and franchises 307 restaurants in 22 states offering consumers a unique menu filled with a wide variety of sandwiches, giant spuds, entrée salads, soups, sweets, and its signature Famous Sweet Tea.

McAlister's Deli is now seeking new franchisees in select markets to fuel its domestic expansion.
