McDonald's New York Tri-State restaurants announced today that it is officially adding McCafe, espresso-based coffees to its beverage lineup. McCafe features hot and iced lattes, mochas and cappuccinos in a variety of flavors and can be made to order with Caramel, Hazelnut, Vanilla, and sugar-free Vanilla syrups, with either whole or non-fat steamed milk. McCafe specialty coffee is available in 12, 16, or 22 ounces with prices varying by restaurant. The new McCafe specialty beverage line is now rolling into participating McDonald's restaurants in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Tri-State area and will be widely available in the market by May 5.

"New Yorkers are quintessential coffee and specialty beverage drinkers. McCafe specialty drinks were created with the taste buds and convenience of our customers in mind," says Paul Hendel, president of the New York Tri-State Area McDonald's Owners and Operators Association. "We're a place that consumers equate with the great food they love. With McCafe, we are reinforcing McDonald's as a great specialty drink destination with the quality and value New York Tri-State consumers demand."

McCafe follows the successful launches of McDonald's Premium Roast Coffee, brewed Iced Coffee and Sweet Tea.
