The McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour has been drawing audiences from across the country for four years. The tour previously featured such top gospel artists as CeCe Winans, Smokie Norful, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kierra Sheard and Myron Butler and Levi.

New cities added on the tour this year include Los Angeles and Oakland, California. In most cities, concerts will include performances by local gospel groups to showcase community talent. Independent franchisees have supported gospel music in a number of ways throughout the years, by bringing gospel and all types of musical festivals to their communities. Among them is the McDonald’s Gospelfest, held in Newark, New Jersey, which this year will also include the Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour artists on June 19.

“For four years, the McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour has been inspiring people in communities across the country with one of the many rich musical contributions of African Americans – gospel music,” says Rob Jackson, marketing director, McDonald’s USA.

“We’re glad to bring in some of the nation’s top celebrated gospel music artists to help us praise the positive and enrich the communities our restaurants serve 365 days a year.”

Tickets are free, while supplies last, except for McDonald’s GospelFest, and are available at the host church, churches surrounding the host church, and select local gospel retailers. Tickets for the McDonald’s Gospelfest are available through Ticketmaster.com.
