International Paper’s Shelbyville, Illinois, foodservice facility was honored by
HAVI-Perseco with the 2008 Quality Supplier of the Year for their work with McDonald’s.
“Serving our customers well is at the heart of what we do each day at Shelbyville, and being recognized with an award like this is a true testament to that spirit,” says Bob Eades, International Paper’s Shelbyville plant manager. “We could not have achieved this level of customer satisfaction without the hard work and attention to detail of every person in our facility as well as on our customer service and sales teams. Thank you!”
The Shelbyville team was selected for the award out of the 14 suppliers that HAVI-Perseco works with to supply the McDonald’s system. The award was based on outstanding performance in the areas of quality, sales, customer service, and manufacturing excellence. As one of the suppliers of cold cups and lids for McDonald’s restaurants around the country, the Shelbyville team has achieved “best-in-class” status on McDonald’s supplier scorecard for the past three years.
