Menchie’s Celebrates March Madness with Free Waffles

Menchie’s, North America’s largest self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, gives fans another reason to cheer, with the kick-off of their Waffle Madness promotion.

At participating Menchie’s stores nationwide from March 1 to April 8, guests can score waffle bowls for no additional charge beyond the weight. As a tie-in to the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament, Menchie’s will also assign waffle mixes to the Sweet 16 teams. Fans can follow the madness by visiting the brand’s Facebook page to predict which team and mix will move on to the next round.
 
“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate one of the world’s greatest sporting events than with delicious waffles," says Karla Bendel, VP of marketing and R&D at Menchie’s Group Inc. “Any guest that has yet to try our fresh waffle bowls will be in for a treat!”
 
In addition, Menchie’s will also debut its newest featured flavor, Rockin’ Salted Caramel, in stores nationwide this March. The exclusive flavor from the brand’s proprietary line is made with real caramel sauce complemented by a pinch of salt.
 
The company is a world leader in ensuring best-in-class products, and considers itself the ambassador of frozen yogurt quality worldwide. Guests can choose from more than 100 rotating yogurt flavors, a variety of over 70 delicious toppings and waffle bowls for unlimited combinations.
 
Menchie’s ensures that only the highest quality milk and flavors are used to make its frozen yogurt. The proprietary collection is made from the milk of “smiley” California cows, which have not been treated with artificial growth hormones (rBST). Menchie’s frozen yogurt contains live and active cultures and has received the Live and Active Culture (LAC) seal indicating its endorsement by the National Yogurt Association.
