Captain D’s raised $6,757 for the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville during the Menu for Caring fund-raising project held November sixth. The money represents ten percent of sales for the thirty Captain D’s restaurants in middle Tennessee.

“Captain D’s Menu for Caring makes a real impact on the community,” said Anne Landis-Williams, campaign manager for the United Way. “By donating a percentage of sales to United Way, D’s connects a region of donors and customers who want to give back to the community. This project enables customers to give back to the community as a part of their daily routine.”

“We want to thank all our customers who ate with us Monday,” said Ron Walker, president and CEO of Captain D’s. “We are proud to be a part of the United Way and its many outstanding programs in our community.”

Last year Captain D’s and its customers raised more than $5000 in the Menu for Caring Campaign.
