Pizza and delivery point of sale developer SpeedLine Solutions Inc. and value-added reseller Hospitality Management Systems (HMS) announced the selection of SpeedLine POS software by Kansas City-based Minsky’s Pizza.

HMS completed its first Minsky’s Pizza installation of SpeedLine POS software in late 2012 and will continue upgrading the restaurant POS systems in all 14 Minsky’s Pizza locations this year.

“HMS has a strong reputation in our area for quality local service, which was the biggest factor in our POS upgrade decision,” says Gregg Johnson, president of Minsky's. “And the pizza-specific point of sale software from SpeedLine was the only solution we found capable of handling all the complexities of our large menu and limitless combinations. It’s the right solution to achieve our growth plans at Minsky’s.”

The technology upgrade at Minsky’s also includes integrated online ordering, rolling out over the next few weeks.

“The entire team at HMS is excited to partner with two successful companies like Minsky’s and SpeedLine,” says HMS president Mark Carroll. “The solid operational practices in place at Minsky’s fit well with the robust SpeedLine feature set—and the added benefit that HMS brings to the table with local service, training, and support makes this a solid solution for Minsky’s.”

“We are honored that Minsky’s Pizza has selected our software to help to drive continued, profitable growth in their restaurants,” says SpeedLine president John de Wolde. “And I am certain that Minsky’s will be well served by our partners at HMS, one of the leading hospitality VARs in the country.”

Hospitality Management Systems (HMS), a subsidiary of Carroll Business Systems, began serving pizza and delivery restaurant companies in early 2012 as an authorized SpeedLine POS reseller. Veterans of the hospitality point of sale market, with 93 years of industry experience, HMS represents SpeedLine POS in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, and southern Iowa.
