MOD Pizza announced that it opened the doors to its newest location in Vancouver, Washington, on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
The 2,300-square-foot restaurant is located in the Columbia Tech Center. This is the first store outside of the greater Seattle market and the 10th MOD Pizza in Washington State.
The company will be opening additional stores in the Portland area, including Cedar Hills and Tanasbourne, by the end of the year.
The MOD team, along with owners Scott and Ally Svenson, officially opened the store with a ribbon cutting. In MOD’s spirit of giving back to the community, the first 52 guests lined up for the event received their choice of a free MOD pizza or MOD salad.
In addition, MOD then award one of these lucky guests the gift of pizza for a year. Festivities continued throughout the evening, including an old-fashioned photo booth, prize giveaways, and another drawing to win pizza for a year.

At MOD Pizza, the customer is in control. Using signature organic dough and fresh sauces, customers can choose to create their very own artisan-style, thin-crust pizza however they like it, or they can choose from a menu of 10 pre-designed pizzas.
MOD offers three sizes of pizzas—Mini (6 inches), MOD (11 inches), and Mega (11-inch double crust)—and a choice of more than 30 toppings. Each pizza is hand-cooked in an 800-degree display oven within 2–3 minutes.
Pizzas are the same price regardless of the number of toppings. MOD also offers a selection of made-on-demand salads, along with draft and bottled beer, wine, sweet and savory pizza knots, milkshakes, house-made lemonades, and iced teas.
