New Yorkers can hear the famous “Welcome to Moe’s” greeting from local owners Don and Sophia Lindover’s first Manhattan location on 1st Avenue between East 21st and 22nd Streets.

“Bringing Moe’s to Manhattan is a significant step in our growth plan,” explains D’Wayne Tanner, vice president of franchise sales for Moe’s parent company FOCUS Brands.

With nearly 400 locations in Canada, Washington D.C., and 36 states, Moe’s has set its sights on opening 75 new locations this year.

Since Moe’s was acquired by Atlanta-based FOCUS Brands in August 2007, the company has taken an aggressive approach toward growth and has most recently appointed a new president, Paul Damico.
