Muscle Maker Grill, a chain of eateries that serves great food prepared with health in mind, is scheduled to open its first Missouri restaurant on October 25 in Springfield.

Part of a multiunit agreement to develop locations throughout Missouri, the Springfield restaurant features healthier choices of popular dishes, including chicken, seafood, pasta, burgers, wraps, and entrée salads.

“Muscle Maker Grill has become one of the fastest-growing restaurant franchises because we are filling a void by offering people healthy choices to meet today’s hectic lifestyles,” says Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill. “We are excited to open our Springfield restaurant and look forward to offering members of the community great-tasting food that is also good for you.”

The owners of the Springfield store believe the chain’s concept is perfect for today’s increasingly health-conscious population.

“People are constantly trying to maintain a healthier diet but often times feel as though they have to sacrifice taste. Muscle Maker Grill offers a true alternative to anyone who wants to eat well and still enjoy the dishes they love without feeling guilty,” says co-owner Lisa Floyd. “We are truly excited to bring this unique concept to our community and look forward to helping people eat healthier.”

The Springfield restaurant will be the 63rd Muscle Maker Grill location. In addition to Missouri, Muscle Maker Grill has restaurants in Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Muscle Maker Grill was founded in 1995 by Silva with the goal of offering a nutritious alternative to fast-food restaurants.

The rapidly growing chain fills a void in the marketplace for quick, convenient, healthy meal options. Muscle Maker Grill serves lean, protein-based dishes and offers a variety of fruit smoothies in an assortment of flavors.

The atmosphere at Muscle Maker Grill is friendly, relaxed, and casual. Each restaurant offers catering, take-out, and delivery services for the convenience of its customers.
