National Franchise Sales to Expand Advisory Services

Michael Arrowsmith has rejoined National Franchise Sales as a managing director, and is working with several NFS Resale Teams on the Applebee’s, Arby’s, Denny’s, Checkers/Rally's, and IHOP brands.  

He will also be part of the newly formed NFS Advisory Services practice area, where he will compliment buy-side, valuation, dispute, and restructuring advisory, by providing Franchise Brand Development advisory services. 

Additionally, Arrowsmith will be part of the NFS Asset Recovery Team specializing in asset recovery through bankruptcy, receiverships, and foreclosure, and will be working out of the National Franchise Sales office in Tampa, Florida.  

Arrowsmith brings more than 20 years of financial and transactional experience in divestitures, transaction structuring, strategic planning, and brand growth. He has held senior level executive positions in both sales and finance.  

In his most recent position, he was senior vice president of development at Checkers/Rally's, responsible for the brand's strategic growth; company and franchise restaurant development; real estate site selection; design and construction services; and franchise sales and finance. 

Michael has also served as vice president of franchise development at Gloria Jean's, vice president of franchise sales for Shoney's, had previously spent several years with NFS, and spent 16 years with Denny's in a variety of key finance and development positions.
