Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q announced that its signature Bar-B-Q is now available for purchase online at www.scnbnc.com. Customers may order Bar-B-Q and have it shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. The Bar-B-Q is the first of many menu items Smithfield’s soon will have available online.
“This is something our customers have requested for a long time,” Smithfield’s director of marketing, Richard Averitte says. “We developed a system where it would not compromise the integrity of our product and we are proud to offer it to our customers near and far.”
Smithfield’s Bar-B-Q is made eastern North Carolina-style with a vinegar-based sauce from pork shoulder that is cooked for 14 hours. The Bar-B-Q is hand-pulled, mixed with the freshest ingredients according to an old family recipe, and then flash-frozen and vacuum packed in an insulated foam container with cold packs to ensure freshness.
Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q has a 40-year history in serving fried chicken and eastern North Carolina-style BBQ. Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B has more than 30 locations in North Carolina.
