The confectioners at Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip are rolling out an antidote to the summer swelter: Walk-Away Sundaes.
Three sundae varieties, served in freshly baked waffle cones, recently arrived at cafés across the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East.
The limited-time offerings will only be available through August 30.
- Peanut Butter: A classic pairing of Butterfinger candy and vanilla ice cream, served in a fresh-baked Walk-Away Sundae waffle cone.
- Chocolate Chip Cookie: Signature Nestlé Toll House Café chocolate chip cookies and vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone.
- Confetti (U.S. cafés only): Featuring Nerds candy, strawberry sauce, and vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone.
- Crispy Milk Chocolate (Canada/Middle East cafés only): Nestlé KitKat candy crumbles mixed with vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone.
Each Walk-Away Sundae comes with the traditional cherry on top, and when guests buy any two sundaes, the third one is free.
“Let me be perfectly clear: If you don’t try at least one of our Walk-Away Sundaes this summer, your summer just won’t be complete!” says Shawnon Bellah, chief operating officer for Crest Foods Inc., the franchisor of Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip. “They’re not just incredibly delicious, but they’re practically a work of art. I have a feeling these sundaes just might be our most popular items in the cafés this summer.”
