Sentina introduced a new generation of eco-friendly, affordably priced LED-based signage displays, offering small to medium sized retailers ways to cost-effectively update their consumer messaging daily.
Designed to replace fluorescent-based signage, Sentina uSign displays advance the energy-efficient LED lighting technology in a number of ways. First, the displays incorporate an enhanced LED lighting design that feature customized Super LED lights that are 20 percent brighter than conventional LED lights. Second, the Super LED lights are embedded behind a proprietary Shoji screen–based Optical Reflection Panel, OptiLight, that produces an ultra-bright, evenly dispersed edge-to-edge light that virtually eliminates heat emission. Third, the ultra-lightweight display frames are constructed entirely of recycled plastic. Fourth, each Sentina uSign frame consumes only 6 watts of power, which translates to an operating cost of less than a penny per-day in normal usage. Each 8-1/2” X 11” display costs $80.00.
According to Mei Noguchi, president of Sentina, the combination of the Super LED lights with the Shoji screen–based OptiLight Optical Reflection Panel combines to produce a new level of LED performance quality.
