Torex Retail Holdings Limited announced that the Subway restaurant chain signed an agreement to implement the Torex Quick Service Restaurant POS solution globally. This partnership agreement pays testament to the best-in-class solutions and global capabilities that Torex can offer to the Subway brand.

With a large network of franchisee operations, the Subway chain needed one global POS solution designed for large complex environments; achieving a balance between the franchisee needs for value and the corporate mission to support growth.

Commenting on the agreement, Thys Van Hout, Subway's chief technology officer, states “We understood that this evaluation process was going to result in the largest global deployment of a commercially available solution in the quick-serve market. We spent over 11 months evaluating over 25 vendors, our choice was unanimous Torex.”
