UFood Restaurant Group announced that its newest Logan Airport Terminal C location in Boston marks a new franchise relationship with Midfield Concession Enterprises of Romulus, Michigan. Midfield is a multi-unit airport restaurant and foodservice operator of chains such as Max & Erma’s, The Coffee Beanery, and Quiznos nationwide. In addition, Midfield operates two award-winning, exclusive brands, Sora and The Mediterranean Grill, which were both recognized by Airport Revenue News as Best New Food and Beverage Concepts.

“We are excited about our new partnership with UFood Grill,” says Midfield Concession Enterprises president and CEO Andrea Hachem. “We like the concept of UFood Grill, as it provides travelers with great comfort food that not only tastes great, but is actually healthful and good for you. UFood Grill will be a great addition to Logan Airport Terminal C, as well as a hit with travelers.”

The Terminal C location of the Boston-based quick-serve restaurant chain UFood Grill marks the company’s second location in Boston’s Logan International Airport and third airport location overall (UFood Grill has one location in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport, the seventh-busiest airport in the world).

“This exciting announcement is a testament to our success in our other airport locations, as well as our commitment to growing nontraditional restaurant locations in hospitals, colleges, and travel plazas throughout the United States,” says UFood Grill’s chairman and CEO George Naddaff. “We are excited to partner with a fellow recipient of Airport Revenue News’ Best New Food and Beverage Concept Award (UFood Grill received the award this year), and anticipate providing Logan Airport Terminal C travelers with a healthy dining alternative.”
