Newk’s Eatery’s spring menu will prominently feature culinary-inspired seafood dishes suited for the Lenten season. From March through mid-May, the popular Salmon & Arugula Salad introduced last spring will once again be at the center of the company’s limited time menu. It will appear alongside the company’s other year-round seafood fan favorites, Spicy Shrimp Pizza, Lobster Crab Bisque, Newk’s Signature Shrimp Po’boy, and Caesar Salad topped with Salmon. These selections will be available all week long in nearly 70 restaurants through May 11.
“Newk’s Eatery offers a variety of freshly-prepared entrees served up tableside in our family-friendly restaurants,” says Alan Wright, vice president of marketing and franchise operations. “The flavorful ingredient combinations of our seafood dishes and our high-quality, grilled salmon filet that can be added to any of our entrées, give guests even more reasons to crave Newk’s.”
Newk’s Salmon & Arugula Salad is made of fresh baby arugula, grape tomatoes, parmesan cheese, a perfectly grilled filet of salmon and is finished with lively lemon basil dressing. One of last year’s most successful LTOs, the simply un-toppable salad is one of Newk’s classics with a twist, a classic that can easily fit in any diet. In addition to the Salmon & Arugula Salad, Newk’s Eatery offers menu items for the Lenten observer and seafood lover. Newk’s fresh catches include the Caesar Salmon Salad, Spicy Shrimp Pizza, the Shrimp Po’boy, and Lobster Crab Bisque.
